This story moved the Poles and caught the attention of the media. It also put the uniformed services all over the country on standby. When an unusual transport with ten tigers stopped at the Polish-Belarusian border, the whole country watched as the condition of the animals was getting worse. When the rescue operation continued, everyone in Poland wondered where the animals came from and where they were really supposed to go. The author of the document set off on the trail of the tigers and found traces of them in several European countries. She traveled through Italy, Spain, and Russia. She reached the famous Italian circus family, discovered a suspicious zoo in the mountains of Dagestan, and found out that a mysterious sponsor from Moscow was involved. The inconspicuous case revealed patterns of wildlife trade in Europe with tracks leading to China.
