The Meadow - Paradise Lost

Environmental Films

The Meadow: A sea of colors, bright and variform almost like a coral reef or the tropical rainforest. How come this habitat only exists, if it is destroyed regularly? Why do so many creatures make their home in a meadow that is cut down by machines twice a year? Can´t we just leave the meadows alone, let them grow, stop cutting them? This film answers all these questions and the film talks about the drastic decline in diverse meadows all over the world. Modern agriculture has brought this habitat close to extinction.
