AN ARGONAUT IN ORDU
Enis Ayar – dubbed Argonaut Enis – is something of a local legend in his native Ordu, a city on Turkey's verdant Black Sea coast, where he has dedicated his life to building awareness of the region's environmental and historical riches, against many odds. A cast of friends and supporters on various campaigns help paint a picture of this larger-than-life character, as do local officials whose city development plans he frequently comes up against.

Ruya Arzu Koksal (b. 1972, Ankara, Turkey)
She received her B.A. in Linguistics from Hacettepe University. She works as a tourist guide in Turkey and leads cultural trips to Central Asia, India, Nepal and Tibet. Her travel articles have been published in a number of newspapers and magazines. Her short documentary, New Life in Old Foca was awarded by the EU-UNDP Sustainable Development Project. Her last documentary The Shore was widely acclaimed abroad and at home and won several awards.
