FINLAND (WILD SCANDINAVIA - series, Part 5)
It looks like a mosaic of water and woodland – Finland, the most eastern part of Scandinavia. Close to the Russian border, Finland still is home to rare animals: Brown bears and wolves roam the swampland, the Siberian Flying Squirrel lives in old woodpecker nest holes. This film shows animal behaviour that has never been filmed before. This film is one of the highlights of the six part series Wild Scandinavia.

Oliver Goetzl (b. 1968, Hamburg, Germany)
Studied biology at University of Hamburg (1990 - 2000). Since 1999 he has been working as a camera assistant, sound man, writer, director and/or scientific advisor for wildlife film productions. In 2004 Gulo Film Productions, a wildlife film company was founded with Oliver Goetzl as director, writer and editor and Ivo Norenberg as main cameraman. Oliver Goetzl has worked for BBC, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Animal Planet, ARTE, etc. and filmed in various countries: India, Russia, Canada, Kenya, Botswana, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Poland, Estonia and Germany.
