Her name is Green, she is alone in a world that doesn’t belong to her. She is a female orangutan, victim of deforestation and resource exploitation. The multi award winning Green is a documentary on the Indonesian rainforest, deforestation and orangutan extinction, which addresses itself both to the Indonesians and the consumers of wood/paper/palm oil around the world.

Patrick Rouxel (b. 1966) He grew up in Malaysia and Singapore, then studied Humanities in the US and in France. After working for more than 10 years as a post-production supervisor for feature films, Patrick decided to turn to filmmaking for environmental conservation. Since 2003, he has been dedicating his time to making films, raising awareness about deforestation, loss of biodiversity and bad animal treatment as a citizen act for a better world.
