RIVERS AND TIDES
This is a sensual and poetic journey into the world and mind of the renowned sculptor Andy Goldsworthy. Using materials from nature, Goldsworthy allows the elements to have the last say in his beautiful creations. Filmmaker Thomas Riedelsheimer followed the artist for over a year intimately documenting his improvisational process and capturing the serene spectacle of his works.

Studied at the Munich Film and Television Academy (1984-1991). Since 1986, he has been a freelance writer, director and cinematographer in Germany and abroad. He lectures and conducts film workshops at the Munich Film Academy. Until 2001, he worked in production at the Riedelsheimer documentary film company. In 2001, he founded the Filmquadrat company with partners Stefan Tölz and Thomas Warthmann. Filmography And Then They Shoot...
