"The Eliminators" is an eco-documentary detailing the efforts of the Moldovan government to combat the toxic legacy of over 6,400 tons of obsolete pesticides posing multiple hazards to both the environment and human health. Those clean-up efforts have been funded through a Netherlands Ministry of External Affairs project, which has focused on the elimination of these now-banned and obsolete pesticides in former Soviet republics like Moldova, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.
