She is an animation director, storybook writer and illustrator. After graduating from Seoul National University's Department of Management and Kookmin University's Department of Visual Design, she got a master's degree at the Korea National University of Arts. She has created animated shorts and picture books for children. Currently she is making a new TV series animation, "The White Seal" featuring her own character Julie and her magical toy friend, White Seal.
