In Esquel, Argentinean Patagonia, a Canadian company was granted the rights to extract gold and silver from the mountain located 7 km. away from the city, using huge amounts of water and cyanide. With 50 % of the population living below the limits of poverty, the mining enterprise arises as the great solution for such dearth.

Pablo D'Alo Abba (b. 1975)
In 1998, he graduated from the professional school of cinematography, as a film director, and the University of Belgrano, as a producer and director. In 1992 he started his professional career as director's assistant within publicity filmmaking, together with Luis Puenzo. In 2005 he started his career as an advertising and video clip director. Currently, he works on his first fiction film.
