This film consists of two parts. The first part, entitled "Hippodrome" has been filmed during 1996-98 when Armenia was in transition period. It depicts the difficult condition of horses in Hippodrome. During these years 30 horses starved to death. The second film tells about the Yerevan Zoo. The camera faces with horror-stricken eyes of jailed birds and animals, whose only consolation is the meat they are given regularly in their separate and small cages. The film shows that the attitude towards animals has not changed.
